Belvac Introduces Plastic Container Trimming and Finishing

Lynchburg, VA, -- Belvac Production Machinery, Inc., a Dover Company (NYSE-DOV) and a leader in rigid container converting machinery, announces the display of our widely successful series of machines to trim and finish plastics.

Belvac has developed innovative designs and processes enabling blow molders to steadily increase line speeds, improve quality and productivity, while significantly reducing material costs, with performance and throughput in mind.

Our technology allows our users to present their customers with a superior package, ready for filling and capping. We will have a range of information on display at the upcoming Pack Expo Show November 7-11.

Exhibits will include our established line of rotary moil trimming and burnishing systems, and flange trimming system to allow you to better acquaint yourself with our technology.

In addition, we will have our two newest additions on display. They include our Model DTO for offset neck containers, such as F style or motor oil containers; and our DTNR for trimming non-round neck finishes. This includes ovals, squares, rectangles and other non-round shapes.

Belvac's customers are driven by a need to use an advanced, yet competitively priced technology to simplify both extrusion and reheat stretch blow molding processes!

Technology solutions include eliminating rough edges, often discomforting to consumers' lips, tongues or hands, and the improvement of parting line mold mismatch challenges. Blow trim technology also allows for the more efficient production of wide mouth PET containers, by utilizing standard narrow neck, instead of costly wide mouth pre-forms.

Systems are rated up to 200 containers per minute or 400 per minute, and are available in a wide variety of modular combinations.
